How many vaida opponent can get

Dear sirs
I have registered a civil case for getting permanent injunction in erode district court. for last two and half years opponent did not inquire us keep getting vaida. I would like to know how many vaida they can get. can we(our lawyer) do anything to not getting vaida.

The problem is with your lawyer. Check up whether he has mingled with your opponent. It is ridiculous to wait for such a long time i.e. two and half years. Your lawyer should have set exparte the opponent within 15 days from the date of absence of your opponent appearance in the court. Atleast now change your advocate and see that the opponent case is set exparte and your claim is allowed.

Thank you Ravinder sir. Actually, lawyer of my opponent didnot cross examine me for past two and half years. Every time he is getting vaida. (Sorry for not placing the question proprly earlier.). If you feel , still problem with my lawyer, What is the procedure to change the lawyer?, Please help me in this regard. Thanks in advance

If you find your lawyer is not cooperating or suspected to change sides or collude with opposite parties, you may immediately change the lawyer by obtaining NOC from him and engage a new lawyer and put pressure on the opposite party to proceed with the trial of the case ending since long.
