(Querist) 29 July 2015 This query is : Resolved
Hi There,

I have submitted my resignation from previous company as i had got a new job offer. So i hv submitted the resignation and asked them to take the buy out amount as i could nt serve my notice period. they said me serve notice and then go but that was really not possible from my end. But then they din agree for it so i walked out frm the company by handing over there property. When i was leaving , the company people threatened me saying they will blacklist me in NASSCOM. So does that really spoil my career ?

PLease help.

NASSCOM :The National Association of Software and Services Companies.

it is also kind of threatening. thats all. first check it that your company is member in nasscom? through out india 1500 companies are members in nasscom. it is non profit organisation for I.T services companies.

i think if any complaint registered against you before nasscom mean then if your new company also member of nasscom mean they may not entertain your placement which can not be questioned by you.

also just check it that your new company is member of nasscom or not? if no mean dont worry

do you know about cibil? just like that only.. if you have self confidence about your skill and talent mean no need to worry about it.

But the point is ,does this blacklisting employees in NASSCOM possible ? My previous company was jus a new set up n they literally tortured me for two days when I told them that I cannot serve the notice. N I even doubt of they payin me this month salary too.

fine madam..

you just go through your offer letter or appointment order. what is the condition about notice period?
H.M.Patnaik (Expert) 30 July 2015
Yes, Pl. come up with terms & condition in ur Letter of appointment issued by existing company with regard to resignation from service and serving of notice period as well as related points for properly opining onthe issue.
