Heirship certificate

My mother has applied for heirship certificate,, and this week a person of court may visit in our house for citation,, can anyone tell me what is the procedure of citation

Heirship certificate is issued by the Talati or Tahasildar after making inquiry in the vicinity of the applicant and find out the details of the blood relations left behind by the deceased person. Hence u should give all particulars asked for by the Tahasildar's representative visiting ur house.
