Govt service matter

(Querist) 03 July 2015 This query is : Resolved
Sir, I am central govt school Teacher.
My wife and his brothers have registered FIR u/s 308/323/506/34 against me about one and half month back . I got anticipatory bail from session court Delhi And from Police Station after filling surety of Rs 10000. But I did not inform this to my office in writing. Is it necessary for me to inform my superior in writing about it. If i will not inform, if any action can be taken against me at this stage.I have not been detained by the police and no charge sheet has been filed by police yet.

The wife and brothers in law that have registered the FIR can inform the employer as well.

Act as per service rules applicable to you.

Approach an able lawyer and get yourself cleared of the charges ASAP.

Inform the department regarding the fact. Department may ask details /copy of FIR.

In Central Government employment case, departmental authorities are required to be informed only in case of police/ judicial custody, if that happens for 48 hours or more at any time.

Intimate the department failing which the situation shall worsen when some other person (including your wife and her brother) shall inform them.
As a teacher accused you are supposed to know the provisions of law slapped in the complaint/FIR against you, read IPC and enlighten me as well.
