Your academic type of the query does not seem to be from a practising lawyer, if you are really a practising lawyer, as your profile speaks about you.

Anyhow, for academic query, any circumstance or settld law has no relevance, particularly for a practising lawyer, if he does not want to read related law books or even to share the real problem, if any, he is required to tackle.

Better read related law books, form your own opinion, discuss that here for clarification of any doubt, if you get any.
