Getting release of girlfriend

My gf and I both majors from different religions decided to get married but her parents got to her before we could do so and in the court she told that since her parents have agreed to the marriage she's willing to go with them, but now they are keeping her under house arrest and have no intentions of getting us married. What can I do to get her back? Please suggest me some way.

Since you have intended to marry but not married, consent of your friend is a must to seek legal remedy, which you are stating to be helpless.

Marriage has to be with free consent of both parties none can be forced for it and especially if the marriage has to be done under the Special Marriage Act, by the Marriage Officer which is also referred as court marriage.
Your gf if not willing for marriage, forget her and move ahead in life.

What can I do to get her back?

Nothing.

It is she who has to ring up 100 and get her parents arrested.

Yo9u make a move with law then she will give a statement to the police which may be sufficient for you to be taken in on multiple sections of IPC. read latest amendtns in 2012 made in IPC.

You have to be sure about the intention of your friend. Will she marry you despite resistance from her parents ? Once you are sure, you can file a writ of Habeas Corpus.in the High Court ofyour State.The court shall order production of the girl before the bench and make inquiries and give directions.
