Getting certified copies of documents from sessions court

I need certified copies of court order sheets from a sessions court. My lawyer tells me that Judicial stamps are not available in Ranchi Court for the last 4 months and hence he is unable to get copies. I shall be grateful if you can kindly advise me the procedure for getting certified copies of the court order sheet from a sessions court in Ranchi

You can apply for the same under RTI Act on payment of fees in postal order.

I do suspect the procedure told by Barman but if this is admissible then there is no harm in applying it.
You should make a specific application before District Judge of Ranchi apprising him the problem and pray to provide the certified copies at the earliest, the copy of the application can also be sent to the Chief Justice of High Court of Jharkhand as this is denial of justice also.

Many thanks for the clarifications. Is it possible to ask the prosecution to supply a list of documents seized by them from various locations (Locationwise)? If yes please let me know the relevant law under which such an application can be made.

The prosecution has already filed list along with all document in the court and supplied a copy to the accused, recheck with your counsel before posting such frivolous query.

File copy of a letter written by an individual has been filed. We have asked for a copy of the letter which was allegedly received by the addressee. This letter should have been seized from the location where addressee sits. We are trying to establish that no documents were seized from the location where the addressee sits. This query is in this regard.

Prosecution may not provide till the same has been submitted to court from where you can get copy.

Rely on the documents submitted with the court file, take copy of the same, if stamp not available, try to obtain from other station of the district.

I have been able to get copies of court order sheets by getting stamps from other district courts. The problem is getting copies of Police papers. The prosection has not provided all police papers. The prosecution has not submitted the documents (police papers) in court. They have only filed the chargesheet. We have filed petition to get copies of balance documents (Police papers).
