I am married for last 1 year. Occassianally we get involved into verbal fights and she threatens me of commiting suicide whenever i don't agree. Few days back she tried to commit suicide. I rushed to the hospital and informed her parents. They refused to intervene. She is out of danger as it was not serious. She is not ready for divorce. I am frustrated and scraed and fel helpless if she tried these things again. What pre-cautionary measure can i take to avoid harassment?

See this is not only a legaal problem but also medical problem. Try to consult a nearby Psychiatrist and get advice and theraphy to your wife and your self. Remember going to psychiatrist is not aa suggestion that you and your wife are mad. Try to understand that it is psychological disorder to make suicide attempts. You can get documentations in a legal way for any future harassment and false accusations and also you can get it cured to lead happy life.

If you don't want to give divorce then accept the advice of experts. Otherwise these kinds of unions never exists for long and create a long life problem.
