Hello Sir,
I’m Syed Basha from Andhra Pradesh. Working in Cognizant Chennai location as Software engineer from past 8 years. My query is regarding Sure name
Actually my Sure name is according to my family(father/mother) is SHAIK but my parents change as “D” for DUDEKULA in my schooling and college/passport/bank related and my company email id/name till my MCA certificates it’s DUDEKULA SYED BASHA it available. But last year 2013 I applied Gazette certificates for change my name from DUDEKULA to SHAIK.
One more query I got married on 2011 and I have kid shall I name my kid as sure name as SHAIK as it not a problem.
Now my query is how to change sure name as SHAIK to all the certificates/Passport/Driving license/my marriage certificates.
Please advice Sir

This is an academic query.Enclosing the gazette notification is suffice.You need not change in the certificates.Adding the surname as Sheik to your son's name is right.

Thank you for responding my Gazette certificates query... You mean that i need to change sure name in all my certificates now..?
My query is it required to change my Sure name in college/passport/bank related and my company email id/name till my MCA certificates...? If yes.. How to change..?

Surname is certificates can never be changed.
The affidavit and notification only establish that the name appearing the certificate and the new name/surname are of same person.

Thank you for your valuable time Sir.
I have a query regarding my Gazette certificate.. Actually my Father name Shaik Reddy Saheb..but in my Schooling and other certificates, passport name is D.REDDI BASHA. But it should be Shaik. Reddy Saheb.
So, please suggest me how to change my Gazette now.. to whom i need to contact for this.. and also if it change do i need to change in my certificates, my passport also..
