Form 26as

I have received FORM 26AS and it shows details of Tax Deducted and deposited at Source by Bank of Baroda.

I do not have any deposits with Bank of Baroda, neither have I had any other transactions with them

Please let me know how to resolve this.

HI,
Not sure . please check your Form 26AS again. it is likely that the payment of TDS was made at Bank of Baroda by your Tax Deductor.
If there is a mistake as stated b you, you need to approach the bank stating that you have not had any transactions with them and submit the letter and get their acknowledgement too so that you are not troubled by IT later.

Form 26 AS is not provided by the Bank. It is to be downloaded from TRACES site after registration.

For TDS on interest paid form 16 A is provided by the Bank.

Bank may have downloaded 26AS for you and have send you as goodwill, however, it is difficult to believe.
