For name change

Name : kunal
Father's name As per my SSLC marks card: Abdul Rehaman Have to change it to : Mehabub Pasha In my legal documents(Like SSLC etc..)my father's name is mentioned as ABDUL REHAMAN which is actually my maternal grandfather's name. So now I want change it to MEHABUB PASHA Please provide me the information & procedure to change it... Thank you.

When you passed out SSLC? When have you noticed such a wrong name of your father?

However, you will have to approach the Board of Education (to which your SSLC course is affiliated - otherwords who has issued the certificate). For this you have to go through your school record. If your examination application can be traced out what is name filled in and forwarded to Board is to be seen. You should obtain a certificate from the Head Master of the School with a forwarding letter for correction of father's name. This is a lengthy process and result will be based on availability of old records.

To me appears to be academic query to test the knowledge of experts. Your previous queries confirm that you are a student and posing questions to enrich your knowledge. You can post this type of queries to attain knowledge in the FORUM but not in the experts portal. Please do not waste our time.
