Me ,my mom ,my dad were not talking to her ...this is what I was believing all these yrs....but recently thro my friend I came to know that MY MOTHER IS IN GOOD TERMS WITH HER AND MOTHER CONVINCED MY FATHER TO PAY FOR HER HIGHER STUDIES FEE (5lac/ yr for 3 yrs) it’s a huge amount for us...both my parents didn’t inform or discuss with me...and she is getting all groceries, house rent ,etc etc from them.. Till that MOMENT there were saying their usually dialogue of “WE DONT HAVE ANY ONE OTHER THAN YOU .OUR DAUGHTER ALSO RAN AWAY”..SO Now i am not going to believe them again and my mother is very tricky person..I have get in writing from sister for the fee payment so that she won’t create problem and denie that she studied on her own in future. Looking for expert opinion..THANKS IN ADVANCE

Dear querist, whether the money giving to your sister is a joint earning of you and your parents or not. If the money is their earnings you cannot question them. If you have any earning, for this you amicably settle with your parents. In my view it is better to amicably settle the issue, as she is your own sister. Inter-caste/love marriages are common now-a-days. If you strongly decide not to give any thing to your sister, tell the fact to your parents, accordingly take your own decision.

The query is less legal more social.

in case parents decide to perpetually feed a paracite relative (or a child) then the problem of the son starts after they die as at times he is expected to continue the same.

Your tile of query is wrong. It is not a "family loan"

"Lone " is what is expected to be returned. It is purely charity remittance one way traffic.

Given facts indicate you have no remedy.

As rightly observed/opined by expert Mr. Sudhir Kumar, which I fully agree and appreciate, there is "no" dispute involved in your statement. If you feel so strong against your entire family (mother, father and sister) you may contact, consult and engage a local prudent lawyer for better appreciation of facts/ records, analyse, guide and proceed professionally.
However, if you are located in Delhi and feel so, may contact me with relevant records (on appointment) at: Chamber No 647., Dwarka Courts Complex, Sector 10, Dwarka, New Delhi-110075 Cell # +91-98911-52939 email: majjagdish@yahoo.com or visit: www.vakil-saab.com

Yes, the query lacks legal elements. However, as a brother you should be happy that your parents still care for your sister.
