Medchal EC showing different house number other than what Iam purchasing as per Sale dead.

Whereas Quathbullapur EC is showing correct house number as per sale dead.

Mee seva peson is telling check with medchal registered office once and update that.

My quetion is , is it small issue , can I proceed with updating in register office and get correct EC.

While purchasing immovable property, it is safe to satisfy about the title and encumbrances without omission.

First check the house number with Municipal authorities. If you find correct number in previous document, then it is the mistake in one office and you have to apply to the District Registrar concerned for correction in Registrar of records. Otherwise a rectification deed for the mistake has to be registered.

Before finalisation of transaction consult and engage a local prudent lawyer for proper verification of facts as documented.
