Good afternoon learned members
if the lawyer of the applicant does not attend DRT on the day of the argument, can the applicant do the argument of his own case against the defendant and his lawyer under the law.

Only if the Presiding Officer permits after noting down his consent and knowledge of the actions of the applicant.
Normally such a practise is not allowed, as it becomes another ground of appeal.

no, u cannot argue ur case as POA of ur lawyer is on court record. simply take date from court .

obtain an adjournment . if your lawyer does not appear change your lawyer

Legally the applicant can appear as party in person and argue his case.
But, I wont recommend this.
Because the DRT case are more technical than a normal civil case. So, the applicant would loose the case.
So, let the applicant get adjournment.
