Sir,

we are exporter based in india, we are using our firm name since last many years and same has been used as our domain name on internet.Now a Chinese company wants to register the same domain name as we are having, so kindly please guide us with the course of action we need to take to safeguard our trade name.

Please file an international trade mark application. If your product already marketed in China, you can prevent him for doing so.

A separate trade mark registration is for each country you want and fee procedure is different in each country.

PLEASE FILE TRADE MARK IN ALL THE RELEVANT COUNTRY AT PRESENT AND THAN LATER ON YOU CAN GO TO OTHER COUNTRIES. LIKE IN INDIA INDIATIMES.COM OR THE INDIADS.COM BEARING TM NO. 1349250 AND 1445972 RESPECTIVELY.
