Divorce paper

My wife threw me out of the house while I was out of town she filed for a divorce and got it. They claim they have sent a copy of it to me but I never recd it. Today they are not ready to give me any details like case no. etc. How can I get the judgement copy. Can anybody help me this is really important. If we require a lawyer for this then I need one in chennai.

Please approach the family court complex in chennai and search for your name in the register which maintains the case number, name of parties, date of filing, etc. please take the help of lawyer or any staff in the court complex, if anyone ready to help.

Be clear about the year of dispute, otherwise you can search for it in the year, you allege that you were thrown out of the house.

Well advised by Mrs.Jayashree & Sh.Rajendera.Apply for CC once you are sure about date of decision.It can be challenged in same court or appellate court on reasonable grounds including having no knowledge of proceeding.
'Justice should not only be delivered but it should appear to be delivered' is the best recognised axiom of law.

Your story is less than convincing. A decree for divorce cannot be obtained in short time when you happened to be away from home.

How do you know that your wife had obtained a ex-parte decree?
