Hello, I got married in 2016, my husband stays in usa. After marriage I went with him. He have trust issues he placed recorded in the house and hack my mobile he recorded my calls with my family n friend. After few months he sent me back to India. Now he is saying that he don't want to. Continue this Marriage and Blackmailing me n my family that I will show ur chats n recording to everyone. Without my knowledge he was doing this, and now putting all blame on me. He Is making him self safe. I want to continue my marriage plz help me what should I do.

I tried everything even my family apologized. Then also he is just not ready. Can you please help me with this information is this thing is ligal. He never asked me anything he use to behave weird. If one patner wants to continue does court will permit some time to stay with each other. As I don't want divorce. I m also n software engineer it's easy to do changes in this screenshot n all. What will be the better way. As I don't want divorce. Even his family member tried to convince him he is not ready. In btwn he said that on a notery paper I want a hand from u and ur family that if some thing happened u will give me on spot divorce without any one's concern. We said no. Then he again started blackmailing can you please help me with a better way what should I do.

When you returned?
Whether he has received citizenship of USA?
Where marriage took place?
Discuss with local lawyer and may proceed legally if amicable settlement not possible.

I returned 7 months back, no he don't have citizenship of usa. This marriage happened in India maharashtra. But is it legal to do this kind of thing on your spouse without her knowledge. Is it acceptable in court. I want to save my marriage. Does court will permit some time as I don't want divorce. And is it okay to sign on such documents.

The phone was hacked in US, law at that place is much more effective if you had lodged complaint there.
Try to have amicable settlement, take help of common friends, relatives of both side.
If you move legally once, chances of settlement would be minimized.

He want your signature on notarized paper, I doubt such paper may be helpful for him in his divorce petition in future if he want to proceed. Your lawyer could easily prove the pressure for executing such document. Discuss the language with your lawyer before proceeding.

However, presently, if you are able to have amicable settlement and succeed to proceed to USA again with him and live there, he may proceed to divorce you in USA. As per law in US, no reason is required for divorce but he has to share his marital assets. Hence, such paper may also be useless for him in that situation

Thank you for your advice, we all are trying to convince him. But if he not get agreed. Then All this recording and screenshot without the knowledge of your partner is exceptable in court. Bcz if he didn't get agreed to Continue this marriage. Then obviously he will file for divorce. And in that case I don't want divorce. I just want to know is this legal whatever he did. Because I want court to support me. This thing should not go against me. He is coming India nxt month. That will be the last try to convince him. Still he don't get agreed then what can I do from my side .
