Need advise on filing the petition by my self as I cannot hier any lawyer due to financial constrain. It is a mutual consent as both husband and wife are separated since 9 years...Wife does not need any alimony or maintanance. Have a 10 yr old son...Never met his father ....

For divorce by mutual consent the joint petition by both parties has to be filled and both need to appear in the Family Court . So first acertain if the husband ready for this process.
As far cost of lawyer is concerned if wife unable to afford it, let husband bear the cost and otherwise wife being a lady can seek free legal aid lawyer through the Family Court order.

You both file a Joint petition for MCD and this no strings attached divorce court may award within the 1st motion itself or 2nd motion. Both of you engage a common lawyer from District court Free legal Aid committee and get happily separated.

Thank u all for your advice...How do i get the free legal assistant from the commitee...How do i contact them......I m from mumbai...If anyone can share any details of contact person would be appreciated..
