Distribution of property

(Querist) 23 July 2014 This query is : Resolved
I am from kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. My father died intestate leaving his wife 3 sons and two daughters.
My father had acquired ansestral agricultural proerty. Now there is no agricultural activities on this land but it is agricultural as per the records of the Lekhpal.
As far as my knowledge heirs for such property would be all sons and his wife as per UPZLR Act.
My question is whether daughters will have right in such property?

Thank you so much for your replies.
Please let me know about applicability of UP ZLR Act as the property is agricultural and inherited from forefathers.
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 26 July 2014
If no partition happened before the amendment act or no daughter has been married before the amendment act, all the legal heirs have equal share in the intestate property.
