Project postings have their own advantages and disadvantages. Look at the positive sides. It gives you constant exposure to varied situations and equip you better to face the challenges in the days to come.

The present problems are just passing face; take them in the stride.

However, you may continue to get transferred to manufacturing side or to get your wife posted at nearby your place. Latter option is only a temporary relief as you are bound for frequent transfers.

Transfers are matter of administrative discretion. It is not an enforceable right. All that can done is in pursuing the issue with optimism.

Please try to bring in either your parents or the parents of your wife for help.

Your leaving the project site, that too without the permission of your higher authority WILL LAND IN YOU IN DEEP TROUBLE. Therefore avoid going on leave without prior permission.

As rightly advised by Mr. Venu, these are temporary hurdles in any job situation.

While I fully agree with the views and opinions made by expert Mr. Venu, you may make a proper representation in writing to the top management explaining your difficulties and seek relief for your present problems and endorse copy of the same to your Union, which will pursue the issue after that. Do not take any decision in haste which may ruin your future.
