Delay in possession by the builder

The builder has delayed the possession. Can someone tell the liability of the builder? Can the buyer claim interest and compensation for the delayed period. Anything else the buyer can claim from the builder.

Yes you can claim compensation for delayed possession.File complaint against builder before Consumer Forum.

No doubt, if such clause is available in the construction agreement, you are entitled to get compensation.

Even otherwise, if there is an inordinate delay, you can claim against the builder for compensation by filing complaint before the Consumer Forum.

Refer to terms of the sale agreement. Even if there is no such clauses you can claim compensation by filing case in consumer forum.
