Degree in law

(Querist) 21 April 2014 This query is : Resolved
Dear Sir,

I am currently working in a finacial institution and aged 50 yrs.

After passing my graduation I got admission in LLB but could complete only 2 yrs and dropped out due to personal reasons.

Now I want to pursue my degree in Law.
Can I take fresh admission at this age and also pls let me know if I am eligible to practice after passing or is age a bar .

Thanks

i believe that there are age restrictions to becoming a lawyer . check with university

the Bar Council of India has introduced the All India Bar Examination (AIBE), in order to test an advocate’s ability to practice the profession of law in India. All students graduating from academic year 2009-10 onwards, need to clear the All India Bar Examination in order to practice law in India. AIBE is being conducted from 2011 onwards. it may be noted that a law graduate can take the All India Bar Examination only after he/she has enrolled himself/herself as an advocate with a State Bar Council

Confirm regarding age restriction from concerned university. Some colleges are giving admissions, but unable to find instructions regarding removal of age bar by BCI.
