Definition of a commercial establishment-mumbai

We are two using a part of a residence for doing purely a personal work of our employer/landlord for issuing cheques,answering queries on email relating to the employer's business done elsewhere and for collecting cheques from tenants,we are not generating any income out of this portion,nor used for trading,of course we have 1 fan,2 tube-lights,computer-PC's 2 in number,usage is purely personal in nature,whether this place will be termed a commercial establishment in law?
