Deed of dissolution urgent help needed

i need urgent advice, me and friend started a partnership firm, applied for Service Tax, PAN, TIN, VAT and Bank account. Now he don't want to continue (as he is also doing some other business and have a pvt ltd) so please advice if we just made the Deed Of Dissolution will it be enough or we have to surrender PAN, Service Tax, VAT, TIN etc

Along with Dee of dissolution you have to close the bank a/c and the PAN Card an other registrations.

Firstly you are required to give wide publication for winding up of the company followed by closing of all the numbers/ accounts e.g. PAN, TIN, VAT etc. as per the covenants of Memorendum of Association.
Subsequently get the Deed of Disolution registered.
Seek professional services of a local lawyer.

If business activities are started, I agree with the advice of all the experts.
If no business activities are started, you can close the bank account surrendering the cheque book if issued. Whether the partnership is registered with Registrar of firms of not? If registered, send a copy of deed of dissolution with a covering letter addressed to the registrar stating that the firm is dissolved and hence Registration is required to be cancelled.
Like-wise surrender the PAN Card, TIN Number to the Income Tax Authorities & VAT Registration to the Sales Tax Authorities.

No need to give publicity as it is not a Company. It is a Partnership Firm.
