Daughter need her share,sons not ready to sell the property.

sir,
I am lakshmi from chennai.My father,mother died.no will.my fathers house is at tuticorin.since because of my cancer ,I need money.But my two brothers are refusing me to give my one-third.If I agreed for lesser share they ready to sell the house.One person sitting there &give us a rent of Rs.1500.What can I do?please advise me.

File a suit for partition. But that you have to file at the District Court in Tuticorin. You can give power of attorney to anyone whom you can trust and with the strength of such a Power of Attorney he can file the suit on your behalf.

Did they tell orally, or did they tell in writing that if you accept lesser amount they will sell.

Issue a legal notice to your brothers and demand therein partition and your share in questioned property and if they refused then proceed for partition through court.

Legal Notice followed by the partition suit is the way available if matter is not solved amicably.

Due to urgent need of yours you have to prey court informing your illness, even than it may take time.
