Dvat no. cancelled in 2013, now what is the procedure ?

Mr.X's DVAT cancelled in 2013. Since then he was out of business.

Now he wants to Start a fresh business.

What should do to get New DVAT No.?

better again you apply a fresh or otherwise you may approach the concerned officer to revive the vat certificate.

Thanks Experts.

He was a Sole Proprietor.

He was alloted a Tin No. (which was cancelled) on his personal Pan Card.

If he applies a Fresh Tin No. on a same Pan Card, won't he be in problem in Future ?

No problem, because earlier TIN was cancelled, he can apply for new TIN. Only thing you have to see that no arrears of taxes are in for the earlier TIN
