Criminal revision or criminal appeal

My private complaint was dismissed by magistrate under section 203 of cr p c after my sworn statement was taken. Now, against the dismissal of my pvt complaint should I have to go for criminal revision or criminal appeal and to which court. Please help me.

You file criminal appeal either in sessions court or High Court,Even if you erroneously file criminal revisionist instead 0f appeal the court will treat your case as a criminal appeal and accordingly proceed with the case;(f you file criminal Appeal in place of criminal revision the court has powers to treat your appeal as revision and accordingly proceed with the case.Please click the link for further information
