Cousin Marriage

I am Hindu live in Delhi and me and my first cousin (mother's sister daughter) we are in love with each other but our families are opposing this can we marry by converting to Christianity and any other problems we can face in future by that as i saw a article today https://m.timesofindia.com/india/Hindu-cousins-can-marry-after-converting-to-Christianity-Delhi-HC/amp_articleshow/9429556.cms
which gave me a hope.

As per a judgment passed by Honorable Supreme Court of India, conversion from Hinduism to Christianity or Islam just for the purpose of marriage is illegal hence think over this issue first. Better to convince your families and go ahead as per your whims and wishes without converting to Christianity.
