Counting of service and pay protection

(Querist) 22 September 2018 This query is : Resolved
I had served 5 years in Central Government as a permanent government servant then I joined a post in state government through proper channel. My previous service in central govt got counted and I get pay protection on my present post .
In state government, I have spent about 1.5 years in service and I haven't yet completed my probation ( holding a temporary post)
Now I have been selected for another post in Central Government services with proper NOC from my present employer i.e state government. Will my total service length (5 +1.5) be considered in new central government job and am I eligible for other benefits like pay protection etc in new job.
Waiting for reply
Thanks

You are fortunate to get pay protection in new post at State Government.Normally service protection is allowed. It depends upon the service rules in the new post to which you are now transferred in Central Government.

Dear Sir,
Normally yes, but if you pace any hurdle then you may approach the Service Tribunal or High Court.

Sir, my present post in state government is temporary (I haven't completed my probation) , will this temporary service be counted in Central Government for the purpose of benefits like pay protection
Isaac Gabriel (Expert) 23 September 2018
Yes.Temporary service will also count for pension.

Pay protection will be subject to your going for the post of higher responsibility, not on lower post. Pension benefit is subject to your own contribution.

Kindly refer to the provisions of fr 15 (a) regarding protection of pay in lower grade.
