Respected Sirs,
One property damage related compliant has been filed at Police station last year. The same has been FIR and submitted to criminal court in Bangalore. The Witness include myself in the compliant. We all got court summons & appeared in the court but the accused failed to attend the court. The next hearing is on June 04th .
Now if the main complainant and accused gets compromised each other , since the property damage is less than Rs2000/-. Is it possible to withdraw the case out of the court by the complainant. I signed as witness due to lack of knowledge about the same.
Please advice
Thanking you yours faithfully

yes, the complainant can withdraw the case and once it is done you will not more have to attend court to give evidence.

Why do U bother when the complainant himself compromises with the accused.Once the compromise comes into existence UR part is not essential.

Dear Sainath Sir,
Actually i have seen complainant only once that too in the piloce station the day he filed the case.
Secondly the complainant purchased the plot in our layout recently & i being the association members & in a good will i signed in the small piece of paper that is now referred as FIR againt accussed. While signing in the piece of paper i did not knew that i stand as witness againt the accused instead i thought it is a proof on part of complainant filing the case. In that small piece of paper i also noticed no any particular accused name.
Now all of the sudden this FIR went to court hall and confused me much initially. Now i was cleared by policemen as why the reason i signed in the complaint.
As iam not in touch with complainant & i do not know his intensions. So to know the matter on legal grounds i requested you all & obtained solutions.
After passport verfication ( 15 years back ) last year only i visited police station & court only one time.
Thank your sirs
Take care
cheers

U R latest briefing and UR original post have no resemblance at all.Let me put my opinion in a nutshell, Poking UR nose at unwarranted things gets UR nose pulled off without UR notice.
U have seen the complainant only once, but U R his prime witness.I am not going too answer UR latest addition.

Once the complainant compromises the case and the case stands dismissed or disposed, you will be relieved from giving evidence as witness.
