Complaint against the judge

(Querist) 14 February 2018 This query is : Resolved
If judge himself is dragging the case with unnecessary adjournments without any reason can we report to high court? What are the pros and cons? Will the judge keep grudge against me? Is there any incidence in the past? I am a senior citizen.

File application in the higher court/ High court for expediting the case at a reasonable period of time and avoid any further delay. The direction in this regard will fasten up the proceedings in the trial court.

In my view you can file application for expediting the proceeding before same court only and if proceedings were not expedited then you can make review before higher court,

I agree with Mr. Pawar..

GO thru the jurisdictional HC rules on speedy disposal…
Being Sr. Citizen you can pray for speedy disposal before same court and even approach HC…
Your grievance is personal prejudice/grudge of Judge against you?
If yes, your lawyer can update you on merits, causes, and how to proceed against judge.

Speedy trial is one of the fundamental rights under Article 21(Right to life and Personal liberty). So you can move for speedy disposal of your case in trial court 0nly and if there is no result then proceed to Highcourt for speedy disposal of case.for issue of a direction from Highcourt to trial court to expedite the matter.
