Complaint against neighbour who constructed in my land

Dear sir,

my neighbour who is a local politician in Hyderabad constructed entrance to his newly built house from my land by breaking my house compound walls. What options do I have to take action legally in India as per constitution?

Lodge a Diary to the Police and local Municipality then file a Suit for Declaration and Injunction under order 39 rule 1 & 2 of CPC in Civil Court. You can also file a Case u/sec.144 Cr.P.C. in Executive Magistrate Court.

Thank you sir, he is local politician and I'm afraid police may not cooperate with common man. We will try to do as you suggestes.

since he is politician and police refuse to act them move court against the politician

If police does not act on your complaint file direct complaint with the magistrate.

This is a criminal offence of trespass or encroachment. Against the police inaction on your complaint, you may approach the court for reliefs both criminal and civil.
