Hi am Charu from chennai. I need new community certificate for college admission.. But for proof my name is kanagalakshmi in ration card.. So how I can apply new one with the name Charumathi..any alternative for ration card? Actually the problem is with my dad name.. Instead of Chandran its chandiran in my CC.. So wat to do..? Pls help me.. am in urgency..

i assuming that charumathi is your pet name. right? if it is so, without changing your name on family card and other govt records you can not obtain your community certificate in the name of charumathi..

if you want to change your name as charumathi instead of your certificate name kanagalakshmi, then its very simple..

you have to apply to name change through our state gazette notification. after that you can change one by one by the proof of gazette notification

What is your name in School records as well as School Leaving Certificate and marksheets?

You can apply on the basis of school record and by completing other formalities. Name in ration card can be got changed by following their procedure.
