Have you filed return of past six years.

Consult local lawyer and show him the papers.

yes I have been filling my itr since 2001 regularly.. been earning approx. 3000-4000 annual interest on saving and 2 fds of rs. 50,000 each... bank had not issued or conveyed any mail/ sms/ intimation about tds... this year online tds certificate has been issued... when checked, then I found that they have been deducting tds for these interests for past 3-4 years

Dear Mr. Dhirender,
I think there is some confusion.
Please take it, the Bank cannot deduct TDS if your interest income was only Rs. 3000 to 4000 annually.
Have you got the certificate of TDS from the bank for the past years?
Can you indicate what was the TDS deducted for each year.

Where from you verified this information.
