A firm has two partners. One has 75% share. His unmarried daughter is a elected councillor in panchayat union council. Now the firm got registered and included in contractors list in the same local body institution . It is awarded so many contracts to the value of 1.5 crores. Pl advise
1) it's legal or illegal
2)if it is illegal to whom to complain
3) what the punishments for the company
4) will it come under PCAct
5) According to which Act n sections registration is illegal
6) under which ipc secs. it comes

It seems company is already registered as partnership firm.

If there is favoritism flouting norms, anyone can point out and agitate before LOCAL authority.

If Rules lay down that blood relative cannot be contractor then also one can agitate.

By your logic if a son is elected as member of parliament father should be precluded from doing any business all over India
