Child's custody in case of seperation

Hi,

My brother and his wife are seperated now.
Legally divorced is not yet filed.
they have 3 yrs daughter, my sister in law was a house wife and on certain character issue they got seperated.
Can you guide me regarding the custody of the child in this case?

Custody of minor child can be either agreed and decided by both parties amicably. One party keeps the physical custody and other one gets regular visiation right.
Even if this issue raised in the court a similar order will be made.
Husband if doesn't have excess to minor child can seek the same under the Guardian and Wards Act.
No parent in any case will be prevented to meet the child even if charges of infidelity made against her/him by the other partner.
