Cheating by my senior in office

(Querist) 02 June 2015 This query is : Resolved
I am working as an life insurance agent in sbi life.
My work is to sell insurance business and submit it to my agency manager.
Last year my agency manager cheated me by putting and issuing some of the cases through some others business code but the cases were sold by me. So I did not get the commission but the manager got it indirectly.
Now i have complained this fraud to chairman, sbi life.
One month lapsed, but no reply from them.
Can i file this case to court or whether i can complain about this anywhere else?

A more pragmatic option would be to move the local Magistrate Court under Section 156(3) CrPC.

Escalate to Board of SBI life..............and Chairman SBI that is on board of SBI life...............and Chairman IRDA.Follow up thru RTI.It may add godspeed.

Yes you can approach court as well.

First, you consult the Branch Manager of SBI Life under whom both of you are working and make a complaint. Show the proof that you have canvassed the business, but your senior used another agent's code thereby deprived of you with the commission and it has to paid to you. He may draw some reconciliation. If there is no outcome shift the matter to next higher authority. In the meanwhile ask your Branch Manager to change your Manager as you lost faith in the present Manager under whom you are working.
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 06 June 2015
You should change your Branch first to shield yourself from harassment. There are possibilities that the Branch Manager has reported the matter / commented on the complaint adversely or complaint without merits when received to him for inquiry / comment.

You should send reminders with further complaints.
Kumar Doab (Expert) 06 June 2015
You are entitled to get certified copy of any inquiry/notings by anyone.

If you have evidence you will get the credits and relief.

Certainly you may change the SM/UM and even branch. It is futile to work with such SM/UM.

Defend your interest.

T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 19 June 2015
This type of cheating are generally prevalent in most of the Insurance companies including Life Insurance corporation of India. The matter can be reported to IRDA and to the top brass of SBI Life as well as SBI Chairman itself. You can immediately withdraw from his leadership/control and can become an independent adviser too.
