Certificates of surname of father

namaste to experts,
sirs,
my friend is selected for pharmacist job in a central govt company at ranchi jarkhand state. he belongs to warangal district of telangana state. on all his original certificates surname of his father was not included. [his name is jatoth.rajanna., his father name is bhav singh]. on all certificates, i.e., 10th class, inter, degree in pharmacy surname of father was not included. now at the time of joining the job the concerned personnel manager is rejected his certificates for no surname of father on them. what to do ? please give advice sir

he has to file at ranchi court or highcourt at hyderabad?

Should send Registered AD letter to senior officials and director of the health department mentioning that he reached on ...... to join the duty but was refused to permit joining by ..... on the ground that on educational certificates father's surname was not mentioned.

If no positive response, consult local lawyer and file case for relief.

why has surname not being mentioned on certificates ? generally in all educational certificates surname is mentioned .

no. surname need not to be mentioned.. if his father name mentioned in the necessary column mean thats enough..

In Andhra Pradesh, father's name is not part of the name of an individual. Certificates are correct. jatoth is the surname and rajanna is the main name. There is no practice to say jatoth bhagsingh rajanna in Andhra Pradesh. Let the candidate bring this fact again to the notice of the concerned personnel manager. Still he refuses to allow joining, contact the next higher authority or the authority who has signed the appointment letter.

In tamilnadu also the same thing only. Father's name not include as surname..

file affidavit to that effect that in AP ? tamil nadu surname is not mentioned in educational certificates . if you are refused permission to join then move HC for necessary relief
