Dear Experts,

Whether an advocate who is a Director in a company shall continue as a Director after coming into force of “Certificate and Place of Practice (Verification) Rules, 2015”?

The purpose is different for rules.

This verification is meant to ascertain the truth whether the person enrolled as advocate is really practicing and not enrolled for name shake only. The another reason is to find out his genuineness as an advocate. An advocate can not be whole time director in company. you can analyse your position accordingly.
