Can the call details can be used

i am facing 498 now its in evidence stage. i am having call details of my wife's prepaid number which i got it from my friend mobile office. can i use them as proof in my matter or they are illegal as the call details were of my wife private number and i got it without her permission.

Put such suggestions before your wife during cross examination. If she denies, request to court to call the detail under Sec 91 Cr. P.c. in your defence. Legally service provider can't provide these details to you without the consent of your wife.

What are the call details about?, is it favoring your defense?, if it is of any use, you may, while cross examination, question her about the issues and record her version about it, may be, if the court allows you to marks it, it can be marked as your side exhibit, but the evidence has be a substantial one.
