Can't I take care of my parents after marriage?

My husband has no problem but in-laws are saying I am not son to take care. Is that true? Only a son has rights not the married woman to her pare ts?

Legally you can not be checked / prevented to look after your parents.

Try to tackle the situation in diplomatic way.

there is no law preventing a daughter from taking care of her parents. A daughter if financially capable of taking care of her parents may certainly do so and the aged parents if have no other means may also claim for maintenance from daughter
