Dear Mr Anil Sharma,

1. Well, a S.I.C. can make general inquiries from the applicant when such gribevance is brought to his attention. This is not a cross examination. Nothing is being recorded by the S.I.C. since it is not a court of record. The S.I.C. has just to find out why for such delay took in processing the R.T.I. or whether the denial by the P.O.I. was justified or not as per the provision contained in the R.T.I. Act.

2. Yes, you can be legally denied to have such sessions with the S.I.C. video graphed.

I agree with the views of Mr. Rohit Sharma on the subject issue. I think the SIC is very well in the legal ambit under such process.
