Can one man karta in three huf ?

First tell what is your understanding of the term 'Karta'?

Secondly, tell what is your fact situation.

In ours case :

MR. A is a karta of following :
1. HUF of Grand Father;
2. HUF of Father
3. Own HUF.

Kindly highlight the legal validity of position of Karta in all the above.

Can you please forward relevant Rules, Regulations, Byelaws, Judgement of Court, which bind person to be a karta of more than two HUF, if possible.

Yes, in the fact situation given by you, the same person can be Karta in each of the HUF's cited by you.

With due respect I do not agree. So long as the grand father is alive he will be the Karta of the HUF. On his demise, and in case ur father is the eldest male member, he will be the karta of the HUF. If not, ur father will be merely a co-parcener of the HUF along with other male members of the family.
