I am a revenue inspector , I am grafted by vigilance on 20 the March citing illegal gratification of money . Actually I have received 5000 and for that I have issued money receipt for that , in this situation peon has received RS 2000 from the complenent without my knowledge and the complainant stated that he has given 2000 to peon as per my instructing after returning the same to him . In this contest can I appeal/pray for fingure print examination of 2000 rupees

Dear queriest did you catch by the Vigilance officials at the time of bribing? Did they test your fingers? State facts. Is the amount of Rs.2000/- collected by your peon seized? please post full facts.

I am authorized to take penalty of 5175 from complainant , as complainant gave 5000 I received the same which was tainted and handed over to the account in charge , issued money receipt of 5000 in the mean while peon has taken bribe of 2000 from complanent without my knowledge as per his own will . Now complainant is stating that "he has given 7000 to me I counted 5000 and kept with me returned him 2000 with a direction to give that to Sri peon . In fact statement of complainant is false and fabricated I have never received the bribe money except the authorized 5000, hence can I pray for examination of availability of my fingure print on the 2000 rupees which was seized from the peon ?

You can file application for examination of fingure print on 2000. However state has to prove that you receive 2000. So it is their part.

it is difficult to form any clear opinion on the basis of sketchy inforamtion available.
why peon received R 2000/-?
why should one give him?
what promise was made by him in considerations of Rs 2000/-?
Since recovery of money is form the said peon there will be panchnama and going for finger print is futile. All that is need to be seen is whether or not the money was received on your behalf or not.
how much fine/revenue was actually due against which you received Rs5000/-
