Can GPA holder of complainant give further GPA to other pers

(Querist) 19 January 2017 This query is : Resolved
Sir my uncle is complainant in cheque bounce case and has given me Geneal Power Of attorney to appear in Court on their behalf in which they have authorised me to engage counsel or to substitute any other person and I am appearing in court on their behalf and can I give further GPA to other person to appear in the court and is it permissible ?

You can depose before the court only if you have personal knowledge about the transaction between your uncle and and accused.you just can not depose on behalf of your uncle.
In that circumstance ,redelegating may not be proper even when it is permitted by law if the poa authorises the agent to redelegat.
Instead I suggest your uncle can appoint another person in your place.

Mr Expert : r.sathyanarayanan has answered your quarry very well. However i would like to add here that for deposing before the court you need not to give any POA in favour of anyone. Just call him as your witness in the matter.
