The above points cover your relationship with the bank concerned. Generally banks consider such requests only for their regular customers. For considering your request the bank may stipulate terms and conditions taking into consideration of the above. Hence do not suspect genuiness or bank's integrity. Please remember that the banks in our country work under super vision of RBI.

Concessions are provided for the regular customers offering good business to the Bank. They have asked you the details of business you have provided to the Bank, which you should provide to enable the Bank to consider your request on merits.

Banks are doing Banking business they cannot make any charity depending upon their own whims. They are handling public monies and by the profit of their business they are meeting all their expenses. So whenever any body soliciting concession they think over the matter from their business point of view .

Excellent opinion Biswajith Royji. Thank you. I was a banker before I resumed as Presiding Officer of DRT at Chennai. Genuinness or suspicion occupy 1% elsewhere. Without honesty and integrity all the banks would have vanished from the map of banking industry. The querriest should realise this and do not raise such questions especially in this respectable forum.

I agree to the views and subsequent views of expert Mr. C.P.S. Ramachary in this regard. I also agree with the right and very good observation made by respected senior counsel Mr. Biswanath Roy Sir.
The querist should realise that banks are always genuine in all the policies but it is some corrupt officials make the system collapse at few places/times. Some private banks may not be fully transparent while advertising the benefits, in such cases, the 'buyer beware' policy should be adopted by the customer who is attracted to it.
