Agriculture land registration document has less area than the parent document

This query is : Resolved
I bought 1.83 acres of agricultural property few months back. I figured out recently that the parent document of this property has 2.0 acres. While preparing the document, instead of mentioning 2.0 acres, through some mistakes, we mentioned only 1.83 acres. The owner is now ready to sign another document if required. As per record, I didn't buy the 0.17 acres, right? But in the encumberance and other government documents, only my name appears for the purchased survey number.
Please advise what the best approach is, to fix this issue.

Deed of rectification is the answer . convince seller to prepare deed of Rectification mentioning correct area of property

Dear Jagadeesan,
Ask the Owner to execute a Registered RECTIFICATION DEED in your favour for the left out extent.
