I have a partition case going on.
the opponent had decided to compromise with me
so i asked my lawyer to end the case, but my lawyer is asking a heavy some of money, I was giving him handsome amount on each hearings.but never took receipt even he when i asked he said case will go long i will give all receipt , don't worry.........
case was also going long but in between opponent agreed for compromise,

so we mutually decide to put an end ,I told my lawyer about it, he said good go for it. But now he is demanding a heavy sum of money.

What can be done.He is good lawyer and all was good only now he is telling this.

i haven't replied to him yet

Plz tell me what to do

you dont need top pay lawyer large sums of money if compromise has taken place with th e defendant . change your lawyer
