i got remarried with widower she is having a child girl age 15 year now i want to change her name in school records how can i do ? please give me advice as per hindu law yes sir both are HINDU

Without the permission of her biological father you can not changer her name or surname legally.

you can adopt the child . on said basis name can be changed

If she has not completed her 15 years of age as on her records then you can adopt her , and after adoption you can change her name and surname .

Adoption not possible.Change of mother's or father's name is also not possible.If at all u want,her name could be changed by gazatte notification.
