Adding/replace joint holder name

Hi,
My cousin have purchased residential flat in his name & his wife as joint holder. Since money is been paid by his brother also he wants to replace his name by removing his brother's wife name as joint holder. what is the procedure & cost to replace joint holder's name.

Also pls suggest whether we can add another joint holder in the agreement if cost of aabove is higher.

The local SRO, Society Office can provide you procedure,process,forms etc and also charges as applicable in your state.

Removing a name and adding a replacement amounts to change in ownership.

Sale/gift deed is one of the options.
